A Quick Testimony

For the last 40 days, I have attempted to unpack the meaning Proverbs 16:3 so that we can learn to have one successful day after another. It's all based on God's instruction found in this scripture:

Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.  Proverbs 16:3 (AMPC)

So this is how it played out for me today. I went to play pickleball with our friends and when I came home I thought to myself--the focus has changed. Last year it was about getting together and having fun and this year it's about winning. It became clear to me that I needed to switch to a group that was about being a better player--yes, but not necessarily about being competitive, which I will probably never be really good at.

Right out of the blue, God placed His thoughts into my brain. That new realization will save me from the stress that I was feeling. When I am in the right group, I will be more relaxed and I will find it more enjoyable. Now to me--that's a win!!

Thank You, God, for causing my thoughts to become agreeable to Your will!!
