Day 187    Faithfully Fulfilled Promises

Isaiah 51:5-6  Amplified Bible

⁵My rightness and justice are near, My salvation is going forth, and My arms shall rule the peoples; the islands shall wait for and expect Me, and on My arm shall they trust and wait with hope.

⁶Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath; for the heavens shall be dissolved and vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner [like gnats]. But My salvation shall be forever, and My rightness and justice [and faithfully fulfilled promise] shall not be abolished.⁽

There are certain things the Word of God says we can count on:  God’s rightness (His correctness and accuracy) and His justice (conforming to what He has promised).

Isn’t it nice to serve a God who cannot lie (Numbers 23:19)?  We can count on His accuracy and His moral integrity to do what He said He would do.

Sometimes we hear, “I know God is able but will He do it.”  Here’s what I know:  He will do what He says He will do!  The Bible is filled with His promises and if He said it, He will do it!!  That’s so good to know!

Prayer Focus:

Thank Your wonderful God that He knows what He wants to do for you.  Embrace the promise that He made to you in His Word by saying, “Yes, God, I agree.” And then just begin to thank Him for it!
