Did you know that God is thinking about you all the time? You might wonder how that could possibly be. Below you will see five covenant promises. I encourage you to slowly read the words in caps out loud and allow God to minister these words to your heart…..personally.
FOR I KNOW THE THOUGHTS AND PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU,
says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and
not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.
Jeremiah 29:11Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
MANY, O LORD MY GOD, ARE the wonderful works
which You have done, and YOUR THOUGHTS TOWARD US;
no one can compare with You! If I should declare
and speak of them, they are too many to be numbered.
Psalm 40:5Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
[As for me] I am poor and needy, yet
THE LORD TAKES THOUGHT AND PLANS FOR ME.
You are my Help and my Deliverer.
Psalm 40:17Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
HOW PRECIOUS AND WEIGHTY ALSO ARE YOUR THOUGHTS TO ME,
O God! How vast is the sum of them!
Psalm 139:17Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
For who has known the mind and purposes of the Lord,
so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ
[TO BE GUIDED BY HIS THOUGHTS and purposes].
1 Corinthians 2:16Amplified Bible (AMP)
Isn’t that amazing? God is thinking about us all the time. I wonder what He is thinking. Remember our foundational scripture from March 16th?
Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him;
HE WILL CAUSE YOUR THOUGHTS TO BECOME AGREEABLE
to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
Proverbs 16:3Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
I presented a “Seven Day Challenge” to you in my last blog post. I left two comments to give you an example as to how simple the challenge is. In His world, everything functions perfectly and in His world, there is great peace. If we commit our plans to Him and ask Him to help us think like He thinks, we too can experience that peace. Want to give it a try? Click on March 16 for simple instructions. Keep a log of your seven days and be sure to comment so we all can be encouraged. Remember that nothing is too small to talk about.
Day 3
ReplyDeleteI had four things that I had planned on getting done in the afternoon. I headed out at 12:30 and began to do the first thing. Right away I could see that it was going to take longer than I thought. I had committed my plans to God earlier in the day, so it was like the GPS in my brain recalculated the plan. Everything fit right into place with no stress.
Day 4
ReplyDeleteMy daughter wanted me to help her with a rather detailed craft project this morning. I loved the fact that we would be spending the morning together, but it was the "detailed craft project" that I wasn't sure about. We spent the first hour trying and "recalculating" our directions. We flowed together--she had an idea--I had an idea--within a short amount of time we came up with a template that seemed to work.We did it with no frustration or loss of time. We have a lot more to make but we anticipate that it will be a fun, stress-free project that we will have the joy of completing.
