Day 191 Trusting God Absolutely
2 Timothy 3:15 Amplified Bible (AMP)
And how from your childhood you have
had a knowledge of and been acquainted with the sacred Writings, which are able
to instruct you and give you the understanding for salvation which comes
through faith in Christ Jesus [through the leaning of the entire human
personality on God in Christ Jesus in
absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].
It seems like in the world we live in rather than having “absolutes” we have “tolerance” and “relativism.” Tolerance means that we are to accept any and every belief out there. Relativism means we look around us and we develop our beliefs on how things appear. No wonder we feel like we are on a slippery slope!!
Our scripture today says that we can absolutely trust God
and His Word. That is so good to
know!! As I spend more time with God in
His Word, I am absolutely convinced that the answer to every question we
have is right there in His book. I have
spent the last three years having a daily “meeting” with God over the things
that concern me and every single time His Word opens my eyes to the answer—no matter
how practical it is. Sometimes I even
have to laugh at how He gets His direction across to me. God is so amazing!
