Day 195   Fruit Brings Glory To God

John 15:7-8   (NIV1984)

If you remain in me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. ⁸ This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be My disciples.

 When our prayers are answered, it brings much glory to God.  People everywhere are looking for something or someone they can depend on.  When they see us bearing fruit, as the scripture says, they will have confidence that God is real.

God doesn’t want us to be "down and out" because that is not a picture of His goodness or His greatness.  He wants us to reflect His love, His ability and His willingness to bless His children.

Thank your Father that His words are true.  Then ask Him for whatever you wish, thanking Him that He has heard you and will answer so that your joy may be full.
