Day 80 More Power Words- Part III
Hebrews 13:5 (New International Version, ©2011)
5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”
never will I forsake you.”
What are the power words in the scripture above? If you said, “never” you are absolutely right! Do you really suppose that God actually means “never???”
I always say, “God, You shouldn’t have said that unless you meant it!”
Hebrews 13:20-21 (New International Version, ©2011)
20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
If you made a list of “everything good” for doing His will, what would our list look like?? What would it take to accomplish His will??
Good health and vitality
Money and resources
Wisdom and understanding
Divine Connections and directions……etc.
2 Corinthians 9:8 (New International Version, ©2011)
8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
Doesn’t sound like God is holding anything back, does it??
2 Corinthians 9:11 (New International Version, ©2011)
11 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
God wants us to be enriched in every way so we can be generous to others. How about if we just believe that God wants to supply our every need so we can do what He wants us to do??
Today’s Assignment:
