Days 20 and 21
·         Keep your “meeting with God” just like you would keep a hair appointment, an oil change appointment or a dentist appointment.  Just like someone there is waiting on you, God is  also waiting on you.

·         Go back over the last five days and review the specific questions you have asked Him.  Did you get your answers?  If not, highlight them with a highlighter and ask God again.

Matthew 7: 7-8  Amplified Bible
Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find;  keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you.
For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.

·         Ask God to show you if you have any more “static” on your phone lines.  It’s always good to do a review of that since the phone lines  can get cluttered so easily.  We can get distracted  and get our focus on the wrong things.

·         One thing that clears the “phone lines” is to begin to thank God out loud for all the blessings in your life.  Maybe you are going through a difficult time right now and don’t think you have any blessings.  Did you sleep in a bed last night?  Do you have electricity in your house?  Are you warm?

It helps to thank God  out loud so that your ears can actually hear it.  Try it once and see if you aren’t encouraged.
1 Samuel 30:6 (New International Version)
6 David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.
·         Read David’s whole story.  He was in a tight spot—a very tight spot---a life or death tight spot!!!  See what happened when he encouraged himself in the Lord.

·         Rehearsing our blessings opens the atmosphere around us so that we can receive the strength we need from heaven.  Then we can move on in our journey to victory—and it’s something we can do on purpose!!

·         Here are some scriptures to help you praise our wonderful God.  Turn them into a song from your heart!!

Luke 18:27                             Hebrews 10:23
