Day 55 and 56
We’ve spent 54 days laying the foundation for a more intimate relationship with God. If at this point, you do not feel that your foundation is solid and that you have established your meeting time with God, I encourage you to go back to Day 1 and review the assignments. Sometimes day-to-day readings can seem “disjointed” and reviewing things in one sitting can bring a pattern of growth.
At one point, I suggested that you pray that God would bring you a prayer partner—someone who is available when you ar-- someone who will challenge you and keep you accountable. I can attest that when you are on your own, it’s easy to let things go.
My life has been enriched beyond measure as I began regular “meetings with God.” I picked a time and a place and although those two things vary from time to time, the meetings do not. It’s a joy to me to spend time with someone who loves me so much!
How do I know that He loves me?
Read:
Romans 8:37
II Corinthians 2:14
Hebrews 13:5 Amplified Bible
Psalms 103: 1-5
And on and on and on………!
In these “meetings” you will find yourself having a deeper understanding of who God really is, what His character is like and what He wants for your life.
Maybe you can even say, “I am trusting Him more because I can see how strong He is and how loving He is and how He always wants the best for me."
EnJOY your time with God. Remember to take your time in these “meetings” and, like a little child, just ask Him to show Himself to you in a real and practical way. I promise you, He will—and your life will never be the same!!
God bless you,
Karol
